Bigg Boss 15: Donal Bisht Says She Is Upset About Her Eviction; Shares She Was 'Sidelined By Everyone Inside’
Donal Bisht called her and Vidhi Pandya eviction unfair as they were nominated by their fellow housemates for contributing the least to the show.
The latest Bigg Boss 15 episode witnessed high octane drama as Donal Bisht and Vidhi Pandya were evicted from the house in a surprise midweek elimination. Fans and followers of the show have termed the eviction ‘unfair’, as the elimination was decided by the housemates and not by the audience. They were nominated by their fellow housemates as according to them, they were contributing the least to the show. #BringBackDonal and #VidhiPandya have been trending on Twitter since the episode aired on television.
Donal herself feels the elimination was unfair. In an interaction with ETimes, she has also expressed her gratitude towards the fans for supporting and believing in her.
"I was sidelined by everyone inside the house from day one because they felt intimidated by me. It was deliberate. They didn’t talk to me so that they could avoid being overshadowed by me. I gave my 100 per cent in all tasks and was involved in every discussion, but they still voted me out. I have no idea why these guys did that. Did they feel I was a threat to them? The eviction was in their hands and they found the time opportune to evict me," she told ETimes.
Donal added that Simba Nagpal and Akasa Singh should have been eliminated instead of her and Vidhi. She also expressed her shock over Vidhi’s elimination and shared, “Simba ko ghar garden lagta hai and Akasa isn’t contributing at all. In fact, I am shocked by Vidhi’s elimination because she was very close to everyone. They could have saved her.”
Elaborating her initial reaction, Donal said, “I was taken aback by Karan Kundrra, Nishant Bhat and Afsana Khan’s decision of naming me. Everyone knew that if they gave me an opportunity to be seen and loved by the audience then they wouldn’t be seen. They were aware that I couldn’t be manipulated, had an opinion and was a strong contestant.”
She continued, "Like others, I wasn’t a follower but a leader. So, they did everything in their power to degrade and suppress me. Agar kisi ko hata nahi sakte ho toh uski image kharaab kar do. I tried my best to mingle with everyone, but they didn’t reciprocate. Also, I feel mere baare mein kaafi kuchh dikhaaya nahi, mere saare back shots lagaaye hain aur main kuchh bol rahi hoon toh mujhe dikhaaya nahi hai.”
Donal pointed out the efforts she took during her time in the Bigg Boss house and contended that the fellow housemates tried to overlook all the work that she did. The 27-year-old actor explained that she stitched the map, but everyone projected as if only Tejasswi Prakash did everything.
Donal said, “Vishal [Kotian] claimed that everything was planned by him and Tejasswi. Vishal bohot shaatir hai. He is very toxic and so is his group [Tejasswi and Jay Bhanushali]. Tejasswi is very clever. They plan and plot together. I am very honest and loyal. There were times when Shamita [Shetty] and Vishal told me to stop talking to Afsana Khan or I would be seen in a poor light, too. But I didn’t.”
“I am not like the rest of them, who are taking this platform as just a game. They are forgetting that the show isn’t just about strategising and planning, but also about playing from the heart and showing your true personality. Aur iss incident ke baad unki personality dikh rahi hai," she signed off.
